NORTH RIM WEDDING SITES
Outdoor weddings on the North Rim
All outdoor weddings require the NPS Special Use Permit ($175, non-refundable) and are limited to these designated sites. The permit does not grant exclusive use of the area and public access cannot be restricted. Wedding parties must abide by all park regulations. Parking may be limited.

WEDDING PERMIT

Point Imperial Viewpoint
11 miles from Bright Angel Point and Grand Canyon Lodge, is the highest viewpoint in the park at 8800 feet. Wedding parties of ten or less may use the viewpoint. Larger gatherings must use the nearby picnic area. The maximum group size for Imperial Point is 20.

Wedding Receptions
Receptions can take place in the public picnic areas at Cape Royal, Point Imperial, or along Highway 67 just north of Bright Angel Point. Wedding parties must provide all food and beverages and clean up the site after the event.

Indoor Weddings & Ceremonies, North Rim
Grand Canyon Lodge does not host weddings or receptions, nor does it hold blocks of rooms for wedding parties. Guests may make individual reservations up to 13 months in advance by contacting Forever Resorts, (877) 386-4383 or www.foreverlodging.com. Be sure to specify the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park when you call. International callers please dial their office directly at 480-337-1320 for reservations.

The sky is the limit, however there is no air service available so if you want a North Rim Wedding, transportation will need to be arranged. My Arizona Guide is here to plan it all.

Cape Royal Amphitheater
The site is located at Cape Royal, 23 miles from Bright Angel Point and Grand Canyon Lodge. A sign points the way to a small site with six low log benches beyond the picnic area. Maximum group size is 40.
