Pima Point Located at the western end of Hermit Road, Pima Point offers a somewhat secluded site for smaller parties. This site is available December, January, and February only, when the road is open to all vehicles.
Wedding Receptions Receptions can take place at the public picnic areas near some of the sites. Wedding parties must provide all food and beverages and clean up the site after the event. Catering may be available for your group to pick up just before the wedding or full catering service depending on location. Shrine of the Ages A NPS facility used for a variety of events located just west of Park Headquarters. A $175 non-refundable special use permit is required for this facility that features an auditorium seating 280 and a smaller room for up to 60. Alcohol is not permitted within the building, while food is allowed only in the smaller room. The rooms must be cleaned after use.
Another fun option is the Grand Canyon Railroad and the Fray Marcos Hotel in Williams, Arizona. What about tying the knot while riding the rails? The train runs daily to the South Rim station where a wedding luncheon at the elegant El Tovar overlooking the canyon would be spectacular.
